Chiropractic
The most common procedure performed by doctors of chiropractic is “spinal manipulation” or we describe as the “chiropractic adjustment”. The purpose of this adjustment is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into the joints that have become hypermobile. The doctors at The Movement Collective have a wide range of adjustment techniques and will tailor the adjustment to fit your individual needs.
Active Release Technique
Active Release Techniques, which is a patented, soft tissue system and movement-based massage technique. It is a comprehensive approach that aims to restore optimal function by addressing both the symptoms and underlying causes of soft tissue dysfunction. A. R.T. may be utilized in your treatment.
Cupping & IASTM
Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue and organs. Cups will be applied on the skin to create suction which causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell causing increase in blood flow to affected area.
IASTM- Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a therapeutic technique that uses specific applied instruments to promote mobilization of restricted tissue.
